Ekalavya Balwadi is a school for the underprivileged, located in Anand Nagar slums in Oshiwara, Mumbai. The school was founded eleven years ago with just six students. It has increased to over one hundred students today with classes upto tenth grade. A team of teachers and dedicated volunteers work together to provide quality education for the children and encourage their all round development.The school has grown from one room to a concrete structure with four class rooms.

The school provides uniforms, books, school bags, footwear and stationary and nutritous snacks for its students free of cost and has made visible changes in these children's lives. Students also get trained in computer skills and get free medical services. Many of these children would otherwise be sent by their parents to work in homes and factories.

Our aim is to continue to provide education, current technology and medical facilities for all our students. We hope to accomplish our goals with continued support from all of you.
