These are challenging times, but nevertheless we hope you have been well. In spite of the pandemic, our students in Std 10 have carried on and done well academically.
Laptop Donations: Thanks to many of our sponsors, we collected Rs 3,12000.00 last year to purchase laptops for the school. These laptops will be used by the senior students on a rolling basis. We are very happy to inform that all our students were able to continue to learn remotely with the help of these laptops and have graduated 1st class. Our teachers, Ms. Anandi and Ms. Jyoti conducted the online classes and online tests for the students to prepare them for the board exams. We once again thank you profusely for your generous contribution.
School Opening: We are opening our senior classes on Aug 2nd, after 1.5 years. We have continued to pay the full salary to our nine teachers. We are continuing to pay the rent and the minimum electricity for the class rooms. We also help the teachers with funds to recharge their cell phones. We sincerely look forward for your continued support in this endeavor of educating the underprivileged and making them self reliant.
The last year and half , we have mainly focused on academics for senior students and there have been no extra curricular activities such as field trips and competitions due to covid.
Let us all pray that the pandemic comes to an end and the children of the world lead normal, happy lives.
